Ashley and Ali first met in 2020 at Ali's downtown apartment in Cincinnati. Ashley was living in Columbus at the time, and came back to the city to visit her friend. Little did she know this friend was living with her future husband. Ali describes his first time seeing Ashley as "a breath of fresh air". He knew instantly that he had found the one. The two connected immediately and it seemed as if the infatuation was reciprocated. The two proceeded to spend every day together for the next two weeks, with the couple ultimately deciding to make it official. Since that instance, the two have been steadily growing in their love and admiration for one another. The relationship began as long distance, with the two alternating weekends to go spend time at the other's place. During this time their family expanded and they welcomed home a pet rabbit named Nyx. After graduating, the two moved in together in an apartment in Loveland, Ohio. The two solidified their love with a traditional Muslim wedding ceremony, ensuring that the love they shared would be forever cemented on the date 02/22/22. Ashley and Ali became a fixture in one another's lives and families, as their family further expanded. Adding a dog named Vienna to the mix rounded out the family unit the two had been working to build. On November 11th, 2023, Ali proposed to Ashley at Red River Gorge, one of the many places they have travelled together, Now that the foundation had been set, the young couple focused on their careers and found jobs in the Columbus area. The two are now living in a beautiful home in Grove City, Ohio with their dog Vienna and the loving memory of their deceased rabbit Nyx. During their 5 years together, the couple has travelled to many destinations, built a life with one another, and found solace in having a family. The next step? Marriage and then eventually children. These two share a love which is like a flower that will grow over time and flourish.
